Concerts In the Park – Pleasanton Downtown Association


 Concerts in the Park, 7-8:30 p.m. , Lions Wayside Park , First & Neal Streets, Pleasanton , presented by the Pleasanton Downtown Association. Please, no plastic tarps or rocks to hold down blankets. Bring a picnic dinner or grab a bite at one of Pleasanton 's downtown restaurants. Don't forget your blanket.



June 1 - Youth Concert - Music Variety

The Pleasanton Downtown Association is working with the City of Pleasanton 's Youth Commission to bring the talent of our local youth to the community during this special evening. Time: 7 - 8:30 p.m. Location:  Lions Wayside Park, 1st & Neal St., Pleasanton, CA. Cost: Free. Call: (925) 484-2199. 

June 8 - The CoolTones -Big Band & Swing 

The CoolTones are made up of Tri-Valley and East Bay musicians that will entertain you with big band and swing classics as well as contemporary tunes. This band will get you up, off your feet and dancing!


June 15 - 2Endeavor - Acoustic Rock 

2Endeavor plays acoustic rock, "melodically rooted and alternatively influenced". They released their first full-length CD entitled "breaking ground" on April 1, 2006


June 22 - Night Fever Band - Disco, Rhythm & Blues

Night Fever is a nine-piece modern dance band that performs the best of old school, R&B, disco, top 40 and hip hop.
June 29 - Generation Blue – Blues
Sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of Generation Blue who joins our concert series line-up this year for the first time.


July 6 - The Bell Brothers -Contemporary Country Rock 

Join The Bell Brothers as they serve up a dirt kickin', boot stompin', party stompin', countrified good time!


July 13 – D-Lucca – Jazz

Daniel Parenti and his band, D-Lucca, join this year's line-up. Come enjoy an evening of wonderful melodic jazz featuring original compositions.   


July 20 - Georgi & the Rough Week -Rockin’ Blues, R&B
Georgi is back and better than ever!  You'll find yourself in awe, tapping your feet or dancing & outta your seat!"


July 27 – Houserockers -Rock n’ Roll 

This 11-piece band is one of the hottest performing groups in Northern California .  The Houserockers bring rock and soul classics from the 60's - 90's to life.

August 3 - Tommy & the 4 Speeds - 50’s & 60’s 

The ever so popular Tommy and the 4-Speeds are back!  Put on your dancing shoes and let them take you back to the music from the 50's and 60's!


August 10 - Finding Stella -Rock & Pop 

The music of Finding Stella nails the classic rock and pop spirit of the 70’s and 80’s and throws in a newer, warmer rock quality that draws huge crowds from along the West coast and beyond.

August 17 - La Ventana - Hot Latin Rock & Soul 

La Ventana came together in January 2005 from a core of long-time Bay Area Musicians who all shared the same musical Vision "Performing Our Own Unique Brand of Latin Music" the band describes as Salsa Rock.

August 24 -Magic Moments - 50’s Rock n’ Roll 

"Magic Moments" is not just a song, its 4 tenors, 3 guitars, a keyboard, a sax, drums, and vocals with 3 and 4 part harmonies.  Hit songs of the early great artists, done live, for an unforgettable evening of musical memories and classic entertainment.


August 31 - The Tom Rose Band - Rhythm & Blues

Formerly known as Tom Rose and the Thorns, the band has been performing for 10 years.

The current lineup contains great musicians who can play anything from Hank to Howlin' Wolf to Hendrix with equal conviction.  Good songs and good fun are the only band rules.


September 7 - Public Eye -Dance & Top 40’s

The band returns for the 4th year to close the season. There's no better way to end the concert series than with this fabulous and fun, top 40’s and dance band.
