Huntington Beach, Calif- You can pay a cover fee or get in free and see a variety of concerts at Huntington Beach restaurants and bars. For free outdoor concerts, there are several summer concert series to enjoy. One takes place on Sundays in Central Park, just around 5 p.m. behind Central Library.

The other free concert series is held and hosted at the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum at 411 Olive. The Sunday concerts begin at 1 p.m. except for several special weekends event at Pier Plaza, where the surfing music starts around 11 a.m.

A city sponsored concert series at Pier Plaza was hosted for many years but did not exist in 2009. However, a private enterprise that operates as a nonprofit called BBJAZZ has for approx. a decade produced jazz concerts seasonally to raise money for special causes. Their largest concert annually is held in Central Park usually in early September.

There is no special venue specifically for concerts currently so additional concert can be found from time to time in conjunction with civic events such as the 4th of July celebration, U.S. Open of Surfing, and at the Central Library Cultural Center Theater.
