On Sunday December 7th, 2008 The 1st Annual Taste Of Main Street Soup And Chowder Event Took Place In Downtown Huntington Beach On The Sidewalks Of Main Street. This Event Was Coordinated Through The Huntington Beach Business Improvement District's Executive Director Connie Pedenko And The BID Ambassadors (Michael Moroneso,Keith Breiter, Nicole Topor, Lee Love, Chris MacDonald, Kristin Halpin, Chip Rowland, Aaron Pai And Moe Memon) To Raise Money For The Huntington Beach Youth Shelter. More Than $1,300 Dollars Went To Help The Huntington Beach Youth Shelter From This Event. There Were 13 Restaurants That Participated They Were:
Avila's El Ranchito, The Longboard Restaurant And Pub, The Sugar Shack Cafe, Gallagher's Pub And Grill, Savannah At The Beach, BJ's Restaurant, Spark Woodfire Cooking, Ruby's Diner, No Ka Oi, Luggatti's Italian Grill, Pete's Sunset Grille At The Hyatt Regency, Crabby's Boat House, And Coach's Mediterranean Grill,
