BOONVILLE - Boonville Beer Festival. 14th annual event.  Held at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds, 14400 Hwy 128; Boonville, CA, the cost is $40 pre-sale, $50 At The Gate. 21and older, only. Tickets:
CORONA - Koroneburg Old World Festival. Meet hundreds of family members living, working & playing in Southern California’s only permanent Renaissance Village! Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and most talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. The festival celebrates the inventions and changes of the renaissance period. Time: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays & 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. COSTA MESA - Gem Faire. Classes, demos, and gems to adore in this popular event where you can even find jewelry repair while you wait! Time: Friday: 12pm-7pm, Sat: 10am-7pm, Sun: 10am-5pm. DAVIS - Mother's Day Luncheon at Rominger West Winery. Located in Yolo County, the winery will serve lunch prepared by Ciocolat. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Bella Terra Block Party.  Celebrate Bella Terra's 2nd Annual Block Party. The festivities will include live entertainment featuring Paul Cavin and DJ Craig. Free food sampling by CPK, Pizzarito, Daphne's, Rockin Baja and many more of our food Merchants. Free wine and beer (limit 2 drinks per person), in addition to free beer sampling by Firestone Brewery & Fat Tire. IRVINE Anatolian Cultures & Food Festival.  Over 100 dancers, entertainment, vendors, activities for kids and amazing costumes welcome you to this annual festival at Orange County's Great Park. Styled after the Grand Bazaar in Instanbul, the vendor showcase provides the foods and flavors of a far away land.  Time: Daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Location: Sand Canyon & Marine Way, Irvine, CA. KERNVILLE - Car Show. 11th Annual Rotary Club of Kern River Car Show. The Rotary Club of the Kern River Valley 11th Annual Car Show down by the river in Kernville. Art walk, 50's & 60's music, Raffle Prizes, Vendors! Art Walk & Free Pet Parade @ 12noon. Open to all 1975 or older cars, trucks, street rods, stock or custom and Cars of Special Interest. SACRAMENTO - Carried with Courage Historic Flags. The California State Capitol is home to a remarkable collection of nearly 50 flags dating from the Civil War, Spanish American War and World War I. SEAL BEACH - Red Car Museum is open. Noon to 3 p.m. Visit the past with a look at this historic rail car that used to drive between Los Angeles and Seal Beach daily. Transformed into a museum with videos, pictures and a great collection of memorabilia, it is well worth a stop and look. Open 2nd & 4th Saturdays, the museum provides the most comprehensive look into the history of Seal Beach. Donations are accepted. SUNSET BEACH - Sunset Beach Art Festival - This annual event is a local favorite. Held on the greenbelt (North & South Pacific), the event begins at 10 a.m. and goes till late afternoon. Cost: Free admission. Arts, crafts, a fundraiser raffle, live music and some vendor booths with soda and hot dogs are available. Take mom for Mother's Day and buy her a gift right there.
