ARNOLD - Arnold Spring Peddler’s Fair. Held over Memorial Day Weekend, the 32nd Annual event includes over 60 booths of antiques, collectibles, crafts, and gourmet foods for sale. The Ebbett’s Pass Fire Department. offers local beers, and the Arnold Lion’s Club holds a pancake breakfast both days from 8 - 11 a.m. Held in downtown Arnold, on Highway 4, on the grounds of Bristol’s Ranch House CafĂ©. ARROYO GRANDE - Strawberry Festival. Free event attracts close to 150,000 attendance. Held in the Village of Arroyo Grande, CA.

CAMBRIA - Cambria Memorial Weekend Event in Historic East Village. Music, food and fun activities all weekend. Cambria Historical Museum will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday. On Saturday, historian Dawn Dunlap will lead Walking Tours from the Museum throughout East Village at 10 am and 2 pm. Cost $20/includes a picnic lunch in the Museum gardens. COALINGA - Horned Toad Derby. 74th Annual Event. Olsen Par is the location for this four day event with a parade and Live Horn Toad Races. see more
CORONA - Cutthroats of Corona Pirates Festival. Pirates from all over the Gold Coast will invade. The Fair will cover the time period from 1660 to 1720. This includes Buccaneers and the Golden Age of Pirates. There will be hundreds of costumed Pirates who have docked at “Port Corona” for a weekend of revelry. There will be three stages of Pirate entertainment, cannon demonstrations, pirate grub and grog, treasure hunts, mock wife auctions, and plenty of pirate booty to purchase. The festival uses 9 beautiful acres of the 120-acre park (formerly Prado Basin Park, nestled among eucalyptus, cottonwood & pepper trees. Crossroads Riverview Park 14600 River Rd, Corona, CA 92880. COSTA MESA - West Coast Rockabilly Showdown - Blue Collar Combo at noon, Becky and the Blacktones at 1 p.m. and the 454’s at 2 p.m.  The Showdown concerts and swap meet admission is FREE with the donation of a canned food item for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Regular admission is $2 and children 12 and under are always free. Location: 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA. 
GARDEN GROVE - Strawberry Festival. Four day event with carnival, Saturday parade, bands, contests, vendors and lots of food. Admission is free, wristband for carnival rides is approx. $25 - 40. Location: Main & Euclid, Garden Grove, CA.
HUNTINGTON BEACH - Wetlands Gardening - Enjoy the Great Outdoors while helping to restore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands! Help restore native plant communities through non-native plant removal, and cleanup efforts. Don't forget to bring: Drinking water, wear closed toed shoes, layered clothing you don't mind getting dirty, and protection from the sun. Time: 9 a.m. to Noon. Cost: Volunteer, no cost. MARYSVILLE - Marysville Stampede. Since 1933 this Cotton Rosser event features some of the nation's top rodeo cowboys. Bareback, saddle bronc and bull riding, steer wrestling, team and calf roping and the women's barrel racing, plus Kid's Mutton Bustin' for kids between ages 4 - 7 who try to ride wild and woolly sheep. PACIFIC PALISADES - Britticares International 5th Annual 5k run/walk. Hosted by Chris Tucker at Pacific Palisades High School, the event includes entertainment, shopping, games, and lots of food. RED BLUFF - Woodflock Concert 3 Day Weekend with Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadors. Flamingoheads invited to camp and & concerts. Cost: $99 day, $300 weekend pass. Camping available.

RIVERSIDE - National Orange Show. Annual Event with races, vendors, expos and carnival.  Location: Arrowhead Avenue between Mill Street and Orange Show Road, Riverside, CA. SACRAMENTO - Carried with Courage Historic Flags. The California State Capitol is home to a remarkable collection of nearly 50 flags dating from the Civil War, Spanish American War and World War I.
