BIG BEAR LAKE - REEL Money Fishing Derby. $50,000 cash award for 1 tagged trout in fishing derby. Time: Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. * Cost: $40 adult; $25 under age 16. (Free to lodging guests from June 4 to June 6. The amount of free entries is based on lodging occupancy per reservation. CORONA - Koroneburg Old World Festival. Meet family members living, working & playing in Southern California’s only permanent Renaissance Village! Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. COSTA MESA - West Coast Rockabilly Showdown -  Showdown Finals where top four bands compete for $2,500 in cash awards.  The Showdown concerts and swap meet admission is FREE with the donation of a canned food item for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. SANTA BARBARA - Big Dog Parade. Cancelled in 2009, the parade promises to return bigger and better than ever.
SANTA MARIA -  Santa Maria Elks Rodeo and Parade. 67th Annual rodeo and parade lineup features a mini rodeo and PBR performance on June 3, followed by rodeo performances on June 4, 5 and 6. Horse race, the famous mutton bustin’, Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association events, including bull riding, bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding, barrel racing, local team roping and specialty acts. The rodeo parade, featuring marching bands, beautiful floats, show horses and more will be held on June 5 along South Broadway from Mill to Enos.
