LA JOLLA - La Jolla Motorcar Classic. Annual event for car aficionados, spectators, friends, families and everyone in between to enjoy the most coveted, collectable automobiles of yesterday and today! Located on the lawn of La Jolla Cove overlooking the Pacific Ocean, 2010 the La Jolla Motor Car Classic will celebrate the automobiles of Carroll Shelby. LONG BEACH - Crystal Ice Skating Outdoor Rink. New in 2009 for the holidays, daily skating at The Pike is held in the grass area. LOS ANGELES - Downtown on Ice at Pershing Square. Biggest rink and cheapest price, according to the city of Los Angeles Parks & Rec department, which invites you to come skate amidst the skyscrapers. Time: Monday -Thursday 12 Noon to 10 p.m.; Friday thru Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

SANTA CRUZ - Monarch Butterfly Tour. Visitors can take Monarch Butterfly Tours at Natural Bridges State Beach. YUCAIPA - Cowboy Singer/Songwriter Dave Stamey. In this one-night-only benefit concert at historic Los Rios Rancho,“the Charlie Russell of Western Music” who Western Music Association has twice voted him Entertainer of the Year, will perform his hits such as “Buckaroo Man” and “The Vaquero Song,” along with a wide range of traditional cowboy tunes. Silent auctions and prize raffles will take place between sets. All proceeds from the evening benefit the Desi Geestman Foundation, which gives vital support to childhood cancer patients and their families at The City of Hope National Medical Center and other facilities, including Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.
