CALICO - Calico Ghost Town. Easter Celebration with entertainment and music, Easter Hunt for Kids, and optional camping. Fun runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Sunday, Apr. 4. Location: Calico Ghost Town (near Yermo), located off I-15 just north of Barstow, California. ENCINITAS - City of Encinitas Easter Egg Hunt Festival. This free event features arts and crafts, entertainment, prizes, jump houses, face painting, pictures with the bunny (for a fee) and of course, 24,000 eggs! Time: 10 a.m. t 1 p.m. Egg hunt times are as follows: 10:15 – 2 years and under, 10:45 – 3 year olds, 11:15 – 4 & 5 year olds, 11:45 – 6 & 7 year olds, 12:15 – 8 & 9 year olds. Cost: Free admission. GILROY - Annual Easter Weekend at Casa de Fruta.  Hwy 152 15 miles E. of Gilroy and Hwy 101, and about 30 miles west ofI-5 on Casa de Fruta Pkwy offramp. Casa de Fruta is world famous, and has a truck stop, 300 space RV park, restaurant, gas station, wine tasting and deli, sweet shop, train ride, and an antique double decker Merry go Round.

ORANGE - Irvine Park Railroad Easter Eggstravaganza. This annual Easter celebration includes train rides, Easter Egg Hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter Bounce House and much more. Location: Irvine Regional Park, Orange, CA.


PISMO BEACH -  Easter Egg Hunt. The festivities will be held at Dinosaur Caves Park, Shell Beach & the hunt is FREE! The celebration will include games, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artist & much more! Participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect their eggs and goodies! SANTA ANA - Bubblefest.  Discovery Science Center’s bubble extravaganza – will float into Orange County for Spring Break, March 27 – April 11, 2010. International bubble artist Fan Yang, a sixteen-time Guinness Book World Record Holder and Bubble Scientist, will bring his unique and stunning artistry to showcase the science of bubbles under a big top.
