DEL MAR - The Del Mar Antique Show & Sale and The Wild West Expo. Over 100,000 square feet of antiques, vintage collectibles and decorator items with over 250 premier antique dealers from all over California & the Western United State. Exhibitors sell the finest in antiques & collectibles including all types of glass, pottery, paper ephemera, crystal, jewelry, art, silver, Americana, primitives, American & European furniture, and much more ranging from tin to Tiffany. An added bonus is the Wild West Expo with the fine leather crafters, silversmiths, jewelry designers and masters in wood working and Western Interior Decorators. Calendar Shows will sponsor a booth to help customers appraise their unknown treasures. The charge for this service will be $5 per item. ORANGE - Orange Plaza Car Show. 16th Annual Car Show in downtown Orange surrounds the circle with beautiful classic cars. SANTA ANA - Secret of Circles. Circles are pretty amazing shapes. If you look around, you’ll see that they’re everywhere: wheels, clocks, doorknobs, tortillas, Frisbees, tops and more! SANTA MARIA - Family Kite Festival.  Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum will host the first annual Family Kite Festival at Rotary Centennial Park, 2625 S. College Drive in Santa Maria from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with non-stop activities, including trick and stunt kite flying demonstrations, entertainment, contests and kite flying lessons! SONOMA - Blossoms, Bees and Barnyard Babies. Sonoma County Farm Trails new spring event "Blossoms, Bees and Barnyard Babies” offer a unique tasting and on-the-farm experience of Spring’s bounty. Local farms from Healdsburg to Petaluma will open their gates and barnyard doors to offer a behind-the-scenes peek at Sonoma County’s finest food and agriculture. Visit your neighborhood farmers to sample award-winning artisanal foods and enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life. See newly-born barnyard babies; Taste the county’s finest artisanal foods; Walk through orchards and fields in bloom; Sample local honeys and learn the art of beekeeping; Meet the farmers who grow your food. - Medieval Fantasy Festival. Annual Medieval Fantasy Festival offers entertainment and fun such as Pumpkin Chucking with catapults. This Ratapult will have several divisions so that all can have their chance at flinging artificial rats. Creative folks may design and make fantastic costumes for their puppet rat. Longest distance for each age group wins a prize. All are welcome to walk in the Pied Piper Parade. For more information on all division of the Ratapult,  and the annual Medieval event with booths, food, entertainment and costumes, entries to Ratapult will be available during the two day  festival.
