  KELSEYVILLE - Lake County Summerfest. Lake County Fair.  Lake County Fair is one of Lake County's most popular summertime events enjoyed by more than 37,000 people each year. Live entertainment, exhibits, carnival rides, food, livestock, and fun for the whole family. Runs through Sept. 6. Location: Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin St., Lakeport, CA. LOS ANGELES - Monty Python's Spamalot. Time: 8 p.m. Cost: $88 - 227 approx. Location: Ahmanson Theatre, 135 N. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA.

PLEASANTON - Imagination Expressed 2009. The Pleasanton Art League show runs through September 13 at the Museum On Main Street, 603 Main Street, Pleasanton. Artwork will be available for sale. Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 1-4 p.m. Cost: $2 donation requested. Location: 603 Main St., Pleasanton, CA.

REDONDO BEACH - Seaside Lagoon Water Park. The large saltwater lagoon with chlorinated water  offers trained lifeguard supervision. Besides swimming, the Lagoon offers a large sand area for sunbathing, children's play equipment, and volleyball courts. There is also a grassy area and luau shelter for day and evening events, plus snack bar facilities provided by Ruby's Restaurant onsite. Time: 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. daily. Discovery Science Center celebrates preschoolers during the entire month of September with a new 4-D movie - Turtle Vision.  Meet Smokey Bear and enjoy Smokey Bear Story Time! VENTURA - They Paint Horses, Don’t They? & Amazing Horses A to Z.
