COSTA MESA - Midori Plays Tchaikovsky. Virtuoso Midori performs one of the world’s most well-known and technically demanding violin works, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, accompanied by Frank Ticheli’s colorful soundscape, “Shooting Stars,” and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1. IRVINE - Style Week Orange County. Irvine-based LRG  with special guests on Opening Night include Ryan Getzlaf, Bobby Ryan and Joffrey Lupul of Anaheim Ducks; Trevor Ariza of the Houston Rockets and formerly with the LA Lakers; Big Black from MTV; and the entire LRG Skate Team, including Chico Brenes, Rodrigo TX and Jack Curtin. JULIAN - Fall Apple Harvest. A San Diego tradition, the Annual Julian Fall Apple Harvest runs through November 15. This year, the Apple Harvest celebrates its 100th birthday as thousands of visitors venture to this historic East County mining town, nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains, to sample fresh crisp apples, homemade apple pies and ciders. Visitors can also enjoy acres of colorful fall foliage, charming bed and breakfast inns, art shows, quaint antique shops and live entertainment.

ORANGE- Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch. Fun for all ages, but designed for kids. Ride the train, play carnival games, hay rides, maze, haunted house, and pumpkins. SAN DIEGO - Taste of Downtown. San Diego's most prominent Taste returns to downtown for the tenth consecutive year. Participants will stroll through each corner of downtown San Diego and taste a wide variety of the best cuisine the city has to offer. The Taste of Downtown offers a selection of San Diego's finest restaurants located in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, the bustling Financial District, cultural Little Italy, the newly renovated Ballpark District and Horton Plaza.
