BALBOA ISLAND - All Island Garage Sale.  Balboa Island in Newport Beach, CA has it's 19th Annual "All Island Garage Sale" from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily. Cost: Free!

BERKELEY -  Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg. Onegin, a ballet in two acts inspired by Alexander Pushkin's Eugene Onegin with Choreography by Boris Eifman and Music by Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky & Alexander Sitkovetsky.  Time: 3 p.m. Cost:  $36 - 62. CAMARILLO - Camarillo Celtic Fair. Camarillo Celtic Fair is a free admission celebration with live music, Irish dancers, Scottish dancers, Pipe bands, re-enactments, kids games, beer and wine glen, food, athletic demonstrations and a Special Saturday Night Dinner Concert under the stars, Tavern on the green plus over four dozen vendors selling Celtic crafts and wares. COLUMBIA - Fireman's Muster. 50th Annual Fireman's Muster includes a busy day of activities. Based on last year's events, Motorized Pumpers Competition starts at 9 a.m., Motorized Hose Wagon Competition at 10, Firefighter Shootout at 11,  Raffle $1.00 a ticket at Noon, and Water Ball at approx. 12:20 p.m. Location: Columbia State Historic Park, Columbia, CA.

DAVIS - Oklahoma: Rodgers & Hammerstein Musical. The Broadway musical with Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, Surrey with the Fringe on Top, and, Oklahoma!  is directed by Mindy Cooper, with David Moschler, musical director, and the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra. GEYSERVILLE - May Day Festival. 32nd annual Geyeserville May Day includes crowning of the May Day Queen and her court at 1:30 p.m. The original 1925 May Pole Dance with local students is at 3 p.m. Live music throughout the day, and an egg-toss competition, Jump Room, Rock Wall, Fluttery the Clown and a Geyserville History Display are featured. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Surfing Sundays. The 13th annual concert series at the beach features five top acts of the surfing band world. Deadmen Don't Surf, Pollo del Mar, and many more will be featured. MAMMOTH LAKES - Mammoth Mountain Ski Area presents the West Coast Invitational & Rail Jam. For the eighth consecutive year, Mammoth Mountain’s award winning West Coast Invitational (WCI) returns with an explosive lineup of former Olympians and the most talented up-and-comers. PISMO BEACH - Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves. Over 70 local artists and craftsmen exhibit and sell paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass artist, textile, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and much more. Live music, hands-on children's activities, fresh flowers and plants, BBQ, and on-site massage offer a day of fun for all ages. Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Free admission. SAN JUAN BAUTISTA - California Indian Market and Peace Pow Wow is an annual event to celebrate peace. Native American Indian culture, festive costumes, products, art and a variety of goods and services are all explored in the 25th annual celebration held at Mission San Juan Bautista. Held 3 days, May 1 -3, 2009, a $1 donation is requested.

SUNOL - Toast of Spring on the Wildflower Train. Livermore Valley vintners host wine tasting to during a one hour excursion filled with views of California poppies, lupin and mustard wildflowers seen from a vintage train ride through Niles Canyon. Board at the old Sunol depot and travel part of the historic route of the first
