ALISO VIEJO -  International Festival. Soka University’s 8th Annual International Festival features over 600 international musicians and dancers performing on three stages, international food, demonstrations and workshops, ceramic sale, crafts, non-profit and business exhibitors, games and inflatable rides. SUA’s International Festival is part of the Orange County’s Imagination Celebration held in cooperation with the OC Department of Education and Arts OC. Time: 10:30 am – 5:30 pm. ANGELS CAMP - Italian Heritage Day and Cowboy Cavalcade. 3rd Annual event includes games, food, music, history in action, free museum tours, arts and crafts on the grounds of the Angels Camp Museum and St. Patrick's Church. BERKELEY -  Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg. Camarillo Celtic Fair is a free admission celebration with live music, Irish dancers, Scottish dancers, Pipe bands, re-enactments, kids games, beer and wine glen, food, athletic demonstrations and a Special Saturday Night Dinner Concert under the stars, Tavern on the green plus over four dozen vendors selling Celtic crafts and wares. COLUMBIA - Fireman's Muster. 50th Annual Fireman's Muster includes a busy day of activities. Based on the previous year's events, this year's celebration probably will begin with Fireman's  Skills Competition launching the event at 9 a.m. The Fireman's Muster Parade begins at 10 a.m., the Adult's Bucket Brigade and also Fireman's Skills Competition at 11, Kid's Hose Roll Competition at 11:30 and Kids Bucket Brigade at Noon. COPPEROPOLIS - Hot Copper Car Show. Hot Copper Car Show includes auto, truck and motorcycle show and a swapmeet with music, dancing, food, raffles, silent auction, contests and more! DAVIS - Oklahoma: Rodgers & Hammerstein Musical. FERNDALE - Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Main Street parade includes mariachis, dancing, and festive costumes at  11 a.m.  Mexican Folkloric Dancing, authentic Mexican food and Mariachi music are part of the celebration after the parade. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Classic Car Show. Enjoy a live band, car show, booths and food. This is a fundraiser for Edison High School. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Therapeutic Riding Center Kentucky Derby. No, this isn't the REAL Kentucky Derby. This is a themed event to raise money for the  at Huntington Central Park's Equestrian Center. Guests attending will enjoy dinner, dancing and cocktails. There will be silent and live auctions, riding demonstrations and contests. LOS ANGELES -  Gregg Young and the 2nd Street Band – Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year, LA Music Awards, appears at Music on the Courtyard. The public is invited to watch Gregg Young (Guitar & Vocals), Kirkwood Coakley (Bass), Eli Bruggemann, (Keyboards) and "Our National Treasure", and Andrea Palm (Vocals). MAMMOTH LAKES - Mammoth Mountain Ski Area presents the West Coast Invitational & Rail Jam. For the eighth consecutive year, Mammoth Mountain’s award winning West Coast Invitational (WCI) returns with an explosive lineup of former Olympians and the most talented up-and-comers. SAN JUAN BAUTISTA - California Indian Market and Peace Pow Wow is an annual event to celebrate peace. Native American Indian culture, festive costumes, products, art and a variety of goods and services are all explored in the 25th annual celebration held at Mission San Juan Bautista. Held 3 days, May 1 -3, 2009, a $1 donation is requested.

SHASTA LAKE - The Shasta Damboree! Parade & Celebration. Pancake Breakfast (6 a.m.), Parade (10 a.m.), Day at the Park (noon to 5 p.m.), Food and craft booths, Live music and more.
