CHICO - The Cemetery Club, play. This production presented by Chico Theater Company is about a Jewish widows group that meets monthly to visit their husband's graves. ISLETON - Crawdad Festival - Thousands of people flock to this sleepy Delta town to sample Cajun delicacies, participate in crawdad-eating contests, kick up their heels to the sounds of more than a dozen Cajun/Creole and Zydeco bands, and peruse the arts and crafts booths. 24,000 pounds of crawdads will be served. LA JOLLA -  La Jolla Festival of the Arts. 2009 La Jolla Festival of the Arts takes place for two days (6/21-22) on the University of California, San Diego’s East Campus in La Jolla, CA. The 23rd annual event includes the works of nearly 200 Fine Artists from the USA and Mexico, and its newest attraction: Calle Color. This is a live street chalking exhibition where nationally recognized Madonnari (street painters) will turn an asphalt canvas into a beautiful street of colors. There will be an interactive chalk area for youngsters, and Inaugural High School Street Chalking Competition. Main stage entertainment and throughout the Festival, great food, live music, and spectacular ART create a cultural, living canvas for the public to enjoy & celebrate! MAMMOTH LAKES - 2009 Ford Mammoth Motocross. Motocross riders from around the nation will take to the famed Mammoth Motocross track this summer. This event draws some of the best riders in the world and is the oldest continuously running motocross event in the United States. Time: Daily. MIDDLETOWN - Middletown Days. Annual Western-themed event the third weekend of June featuring a ranch rodeo, live music, craft and food booths, children's activities, and more.
