BALBOA ISLAND - Holiday Tree Lighting on the Island. Marine Avenue's annual Tree Lighting in front of the Newport Beach Fire Station begins with snow for the kids around 2:30 p.m. Followed by a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, the tree lights are turned on at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Marine and Park Avenue, Balboa Island, CA.

CLAREMONT -  The Nutcracker. Presented by Inland Pacific Ballet, enjoy Southern California's most spectacular holiday production of The Nutcracker. CORONA DEL MAR -  Christmas Walk.  31st Anniversary event is free to the public. The Annual Corona del Mar Christmas Walk & Festival is one of the oldest special events filled with holiday festivities for family, friends and associates. Each year the Walk brings together thousands of fun-loving people to the Village of Corona del Mar for entertainment, food, prizes and games in true holiday spirit. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Light of Love Parade. Kids, fire engines and Santa are part of the holiday celebration. Time: Chowder Sampling 1-4 p.m. ($10 sampling fee). Parade begins at Orange and Main and travels down Main Street around 4:45 p.m. (approx). It travels over to the Huntington Beach Pier for a holiday lights lighting ceremony.

IRVINE - Christmas with the Tallis Scholars. Rock stars of Renaissance vocal music with their crystalline clarity and superb intonation, the Tallis Scholars are considered the ideal interpreters of early vocal music.
