CARLSBAD - Easter at the Flower Fields. Ranunculus Tours, Every March and April, the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch blossom into a spectacular sea of brightly colored ranunculus flowers. Visitors can view and tour the fields in Carlsbad. Open to the public seven days a week, 9am to 5pm. Interstate 5 to Palomar Airport Road Exit. FERNDALE - Sunrise Easter Service. Held each year at Ferndale Cemetery, this ceremony hosted by St Mark’s Lutheran Church includes music. Rides to the top of the hill are available, if needed.  Time: 6:30 a.m. Location: Ferndale, CA. Call: (707) 786-9353.

HUNTINGTON BEACH - Resort Restaurant Bunny Hunt. Huntington Beach's Hilton Waterfront annual Easter Egg hunt is held in conjunction with the Easter Brunch. Brunch includes gourmet salads, stations with meats, fish, breads and desserts. Cost: $75/person, kids under 12 dine free when accompanied by a paying adult, limit 3 children per group. Easter Brunch will be presented in three different seatings at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.  Easter Egg Hunts for children under 12 are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and live entertainment and visits from the Easter Bunny throughout all seatings. MURPHYS - Easter Brunch at Ironstone Vineyards. Join the Easter Bunny & Ironstone Vineyards for a delightful brunch to celebrate Easter. Feast on a wide variety of fabulous treats prepared by Executive Chef James Lehman. With an Easter egg hunt & children’s craft corner from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., this event will have many surprises. The Easter Egg Hunt starts at 11:30am for children ages 4 and under (adults can assist!), 12:00pm for children ages 5 to 8 (no adult assistance please!) and 12:30pm for children ages 9 to 12 (again, no adult assistance please!). Brunch seatings are at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. Prices are $39 per adult, $18 per child aged 9 to 12 and $10 per child 8 and under. NEWBURY PARK - Easter Eggstravaganza. 1st annual event at Treat Sweets invites the public to attend.  All ages are invited to celebrate Easter with fun events at the 1st Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Treat Sweets. Enjoy games, prizes, face painting, cookie decorating, and more. Bring your Easter basket and hunt for eggs filled with special treats, then snap pictures with your camera when Easter Bunny hops in. PASADENA - Rose Bowl Flea Market. Rose Bowl Flea Market and Market Place is billed as the flea market of the stars. With over 2500 vendors, this decades-long tradition of outdoor shopping is a whopping success that continues to delight all ages. SUNOL - Toast of Spring on the Wildflower Train. Livermore Valley vintners host wine tasting to during a one hour excursion filled with views of California poppies, lupin and mustard wildflowers seen from a vintage train ride through Niles Canyon. Board at the old Sunol depot and travel part of the historic route of the first transcontinental railroad. The one-hour round-trip excursion is about 14 miles.
