The addition of Elliot Easton to the Creedence Clearwater Revival (now called Revisited for legal reasons) puts a great little spin on the music you've heard at least a thousand times.

Indulged with an occasional riff, you have to stop and wonder if the band is going to move into, "Life's the same," or You're all I've got tonight,"  CARS songs we love to remember.

But the band interjects and you are back in live CCR.  Who can forget, Better Run Through the Jungle, Rollin Down the River, Who Stopped the Rain?, etc.  If you get a chance to see this band, go do it.  I was totally burned out on radio overplay of CCR.  I didn't think I could ever walk across the street to hear them play the songs drummed in my brain.  But I saw this concert, took the photos from approximately 15 feet away and I realized there is radio music and there is the live concert.

Sun Theaters is booking lots of  oldies acts but don't forget that the live concert is a totally different animal.  And, there is a reason these guys are still on the charts on a daily basis.  Their songs may be old but they are timeless. No one has come along and done it better.
