Visalia California Photos and Travel Information

Visalia California Tourist Information...What's there to love? Visalia Loves its Trees!  Visalia is located in Central California's farmbelt, making it an ideal road trip and stop for tourists traveling through California. Whether heading north or south (in our case we were going to the California Gold Country destinations of Tuolumne County,) the road trip through places such as Visalia allows you to stop, take a brake, and often purchase some of the local best crops such as nuts, fruits and vegetables. Be it the almonds, olive oil, or even wine that's made throughout California, be sure to stop in local markets if you don't happen to see roadside stands. Often in the grocery store you'll find unique branded items that are hard to find elsewhere.

You can surmise that Visalia loves its trees just as you enter town on the highway. While a beautifully-carved wooden sign greets guests with a stunning tree design, the small sign tethered from the fencepost states that Visalia is a Tree City.

salia Convention Center, the Central California Chinese Cultural Center and the Tulare County Museum. The nearby Visalia Adventure Park offers fun for the whole family, with miniature golf, bumper boats, laser tag and much more.

Discover central California's natural beauty at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks, located just one-half hour from our hotel. There you will find spectacular views of the world's largest trees, rugged canyons, and miles of trails for hiking and biking. In addition, Yosemite National Park is about 90 minutes away.

Enjoy shopping at numerous local outlets and boutiques. A variety of entertainment venues, restaurants and cocktail lounges can be found in the surrounding region; several are within walking distance of this Visalia, CA hotel.
