California Hotels List A Hotel Cities in CA

When contemplating booking a hotel in California, we're glad to show you the ABC's of booking in California's cities that begin with the letter A.

The biggest "A" is Anaheim and  Anaheim & Disneyland hotels

rank, in our minds, as the best values and offerings of any major destination in California. With over 100 chain hotels ranking solid 2 to 3 AAA ratings of quality, and many hotels right across the street from the Disneyland theme parks, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal between the Southern California / Orange County Beaches and Disneyland.

Of the A letter hotels, perhaps our favorite beaches include Avalon,  Avila Beach and  Aptos. These three beaches and their beach hotels stretch from the San Francisco Bay Area on the northern end to Central Coast Avila and south to Avalon on Catalina Island. There's not one specific thing that combines these beaches as entities. One's on an island and the other two aren't. But all of these beaches are mellow, not too large, and all include sandy strips for sunbathers to relax.

Angels Camp hotels and Auburn hotels both enjoy the gold country locations that European tourists especially desire.  Gold Country is where Gold was discovered in California in the mid-1800's. It really painted a brush on the shades of California's ethnic representation with folks from around the globe migrating to the coast. Gold country vacations offer foothill drives through the Sierra mountains, lots of charming buildings and museums, and even wine tasting.

Some interesting hotels in cities such as Adelanto with only one or two properties,  Agoura Hills north of Los Angeles,  and other Southern California options such as San Diego's   Alpine, make for vacations in which the beach is within reach no more than an hour or so.

For northern California vacations and business trips,  American Canyon

in Napa wine country's gateway is fast becoming a growth center, with more hotels on the way, to be sure.

In California's far north reaches, you may be visiting redwood forests at Arcata, or entering the gateway to the Shasta Cascade region at Anderson. Be sure to drop by the California Welcome Center in Anderson, just off the freeway.

Finally, Atascadero hotels offer Central Coast charm, Arcadia hotels

often mean horse racing, or the arboretum, and Arroyo Grande hotels

in the village of San Luis Obispo County  are not plentiful, but they generally offer affordable rates compared to other destinations such as Solvang.

If you don't know your ABC's, then we'll spell out the last entries. Alameda and Antioch share a northern location, and Alhambra,  Alta

and Alturas are not particularly plentiful with hotel options, but all do have hotels and may be the spot your heading for.
