Monday, September 1, 2008 is the final day of the Labor Day weekend 2008. It is a day typically filled with travel as families return from vacations and prepare the kids for school.


CAPITOLA - Begonia Festival. 56th Annual Begonia Festival event includes the final day of celebration with Fishing Derby from 6 a.m. to  Noon. Location: Capitola Wharf. Children's Art Event
In Esplanade Park. Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rowboat Races begin at 1p.m. at Soquel Creek--they supply the boats! Registration at the pathway by the Stockton Bridge from noon until 1 p.m.

LOS ANGELES - African Marketplace & Cultural Faire. Events include jazz, r&b and top music concert acts, literary presentations, vendors selling unique gifts and foods, and an entire fun zone for kids. SAUSALITO - Sausalito Art Festival - Labor Day Weekend 2008. Ranked one of America's favorite art festivals, the works and events are well worth a trip to Sausalito in the San Francisco Bay. 20,000 original works of art such as paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, mixed media, and photography range from functional to surreal.
