BAKERSFIELD - Safe Halloween 2008. Bakersfield's premier TRICK-OR-TREAT experience provides for children ages 3 - 12 to safely trick-or-treat for terrific goodies on the Kern County Museum grounds in a family style environment. BUENA PARK - Knotts Berry Farm- 36th Annual Halloween Haunt is world's largest theme park event. Shocking walk-through mazes, re-themed rides and one scare experience, with Knott’s Annual Haunt and 1,000 costumed creatures wandering the park, mazes and rides. October 24-31. Knott’s Berry Farm closes at 5:30 p.m. each evening and reopens at 7 p.m. as Knott’s Scary Farm. The fear continues until 1 a.m. (2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). Tickets: $46-51/person. BURBANK -  Booo-tiful Downtown Burbank Halloween. DAVIS - Day of the Dead Fiesta. Day of the Dead Fiesta with Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano. Raise the dead and celebrate life with the The Grammy-winning virtuoso mariachi ensemble Los Camperos de Nati Cano in a special Day of the Dead fiesta at the Mondavi Center honors the dead in a festival of life. WEST HOLLYWOOD - West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval -  21st Annual Event is the  largest Halloween street party in the world, attracting over 450,000 people – young, old, gay, straight, who take to the streets of Santa Monica Boulevard to enjoy the craziest, most eccentric costume creations ever. The big draws of the evening are the Halloween Costume Contest and crowning of an Honorary "Queen of the Carnaval." Last year, Radio and Television Personality Ryan Seacrest took home the title.
