BAKERSFIELD - Safe Halloween 2008. Bakersfield's premier TRICK-OR-TREAT experience provides for children ages 3 - 12 to safely trick-or-treat for terrific goodies on the Kern County Museum grounds in a family style environment. FULLERTON - Haunted Fullerton Walking Tour. Explore Fullerton’s ghostly history in this 2½ hour guided tour of the downtown. Tours begin at 6:00pm and include approximately 1.5 miles of walking. LAKE ELSINORE - Toxic Terrors The Haunted Stadium. Three extreme walk-through attractions combine state-of-the-art effects with ultra-realistic environments, placing YOU in incredibly terrifying situations where you must make decisions, face your fears, and risk your own fate. LATRHOP  - Dell'Osso Family Farm Pumpkin Maze. LOS GATOS - Haunted Harvest Festival. This annual event features Goblyn’s Glen at Oak Meadow Park. Take a self-guided tour through Goblin’s Glen, and enjoy a moonlit ride on the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad. Children can  trick or treat and ride the Carousel. ORANGE - Pumpkin Patch. A huge pumpkin patch and train ride are part of the fun in this 3rd annual event that includes train rides, hay rides, a haunted house, pony rides, thousands of pumpkins and more. SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco Ghost Hunt walking tour visits some of San Francisco's most notorious haunted places. Tree lined streets in a safe quiet neighborhood with beautiful historic Victorian architecture includes one moderate hill, in a one-mile walk with an easy pace.
