ANAHEIM - Orange County Auto Show. Representatives from 30 leading automotive manufacturers will be on-site to answer questions and provide information on the latest vehicles. The Orange County Auto Show is owned and presented by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association and the Southland Motor Car Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows. Time: Noon – 10 p.m. Event runs through Sunday, October 5, 2008. Cost: Location: Admission to the event is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors (62 and older) and free for children 12 and under. AVALON - Jazz Trax Festival. 22nd annual event features three weekends of live jazz music from top artists. Unplugged concert with jazz artist Mindi Abair, and BBQ at the Wrigley Ranch is a blast! FULLERTON - Haunted Fullerton Walking Tour. Explore Fullerton’s ghostly history in this 2½ hour guided tour of the downtown. Tours begin at 6:00pm and include approximately 1.5 miles of walking. Tours not recommended for children under 13. Sponsored by Fullerton Museum, pre registration is required is required. Cost: $18 general. Time: 6 - 8:30 p.m. Location: 301 N. FULLERTON - Fullerton Downtown Farmers Market. The Market offers farm fresh produce, food, kids activities (nominal fee), live entertainment (6:30-8:30 pm), and a beer & wine garden. ORANGE - Pumpkin Patch. A huge pumpkin patch and train ride are part of the fun in this 3rd annual event that includes train rides, hay rides, a haunted house, pony rides, thousands of pumpkins and more. PACIFIC PALISADES - Grecian Taste and Roman Spirit Exhibit. The Society of Dilettanti takes delight in sex and the finer things in life at The Getty Villa. SAN FRANCISCO - Oktoberfest by the Bay Gemutlichkeit Night. Held at Fort Mason annually, this event includes lots of live German music, dancing, food, beer and fun. Time: 5 p.m. all ages, Cost: $25/adult & $5/child. oktoberfestbythebay.com

VACAVILLE - Vacaville Art, Wine & Brew Festival. This annual event combines beverage, fine art and music to make for good times in the quintessential California city that embodies good living. Location: Downtown Vacaville.
