AVALON - Jazz Trax Festival. 22nd annual event features three weekends of live jazz music from top artists performing at the elegant Avalon Casino Ballroom. BIG BEAR LAKE - Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest. 38th Annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest Schedule of Events includes Log Sawing & Stein Holding Contests - held several times throughout the day. Safe Slam Beer Drinking contest every Saturday evening, the night in which . only persons 21 years and older will be admitted after 6:00 p.m. Families with children who have entered Oktoberfest prior to 6:00 p.m. will not be asked to leave.  Outside Budenstrasse Game Booths, Exhibitors, Petting Zoo Saturdays from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 p.m.  Price: $5 - 10 approx. BUENA PARK - Silverado Days. CAMPBELL - Campbell Oktoberfest. Annual event sponsored by Campbell Chamber of Commerce takes to the streets for beer, bratz, bands and fun. HALF MOON BAY - Pumpkin Festival. LOS OLIVOS - A Day in the Country. Join in the fun with a 5K Run, Parade, Apple Pie contest, food booths, vendors, wine, art and all sorts of wonderful things that Los Olivos enjoys in the beautiful Santa Barbara County countryside. The parade is unique in that it combines marching bands, vintage cars, and Halloween Costumes in parade entries called "Scarecrows on Parade" make it a very seasonal celebration.
