AVALON - Jazz Trax Festival. 22nd annual event features three weekends of live jazz music from top artists. Unplugged concert with jazz artist Ray Parker, Jr. and BBQ at the Wrigley Ranch is a blast! FALLBROOK - Filmmaking Workshop - Fallbrook Film Factory invites the public to a workshop  given at the Fallbrook School of the Arts & Foundry, 310 East Alvarado in Fallbrook, California on Oct. 16 from 6:30 p.m. until approximately 9 p.m. The cost for the workshop is $10 for adults, $5 for students. FULLERTON - Haunted Fullerton Walking Tour. Explore Fullerton’s ghostly history in this 2½ hour guided tour of the downtown. Tours begin at 6:00pm and include approximately 1.5 miles of walking. MARINA DEL REY - Tasting of the wines and portos of Portugal. The Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto (IVDP) and ViniPortugal, in association with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles will host a wine tasting event with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the SPCA LA, which cares for more than 5,000 animals each year. With over 150 varieties of Portuguese wines and Portos to sample, this event is for the wine novice and the connoisseur. SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco Ghost Hunt walking tour visits some of San Francisco's most notorious haunted places. Tree lined streets in a safe quiet neighborhood with beautiful historic Victorian architecture includes one moderate hill, in a one-mile walk with an easy pace.
