BEVERLY HILLS - Beverly Hills Garden & Design Showcase. VERANDA presents The Great House at Historic Greystone Estate. The  7th Annual Beverly Hills Garden & Design Showcase at Historic Greystone Estate offers a rare opportunity to tour the mansion’s estate rooms, richly decorated by more than 30 top designers from the LA area. Guests can view landscape vignettes that showcase new planting trends and listen to lectures on the mansion’s architecture, history and gardens. CYPRESS - Children of the World Concert. As part of its 2008-2009 U.S. tour, World Help presents Children of
the World choir, comprised of orphaned and disadvantaged children from several different countries. Their purpose is to generate compassion and inspire individuals to get involved in helping over 15 million children who have been orphaned and their lives drastically impacted by AIDS. EAGLE ROCK -  Eagle Rock Veteran's Day Parade. Eagle Rock Veterans and Councilmember Jose Huziar host the annual Veteran's Day Parade along Eagle Rock Blvd. At 11:30am a memorial will be held and at 1:30pm the parade starts. Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost: Free. Call: (323) 254-5295

MONTEREY -  Great Wine Escape Weekend. The 12th Annual Great Wine Escape Weekend will be held throughout Monterey Wine Country through November 9th. SANTA YNEZ - Viva Vaquero Show and Sale. The 24th annual Vaquero show celebrates California's earliest cowboy, the Vaquero. Noted artisans and collectors from the Western U.S. display and sell cowboy and western apparel, horse equipment and memorabilia at The Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society and Carriage Museum event.
