AUBURN - Auburn Christmas Festival. 24th annual event is held at Gold Country Fairgrounds. Location: Auburn, CA.

BAKERSFIELD - Red Bear Circle Native Gathering. This is a cultural event with music, dancing, Native arts and crafts and educational displays. All drums, singers and dancers are welcome. BENICIA - San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers Concert. The San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers is a unique blend of fiddles, flute, piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitars, percussion, cello and harmonica. They will be performing Celtic music from around the world, including Quebec, Finland, Scotland and Ireland. This celebration of Celtic music from around the world includes musicians and dancers who will be in the aisles to encourage audience participation. BEVERLY HILLS - Beverly Hills Garden & Design Showcase. VERANDA presents The Great House at Historic Greystone Estate. The  7th Annual Beverly Hills Garden & Design Showcase at Historic Greystone Estate offers a rare opportunity to tour the mansion’s estate rooms, richly decorated by more than 30 top designers from the LA area. Guests can view landscape vignettes that showcase new planting trends and listen to lectures on the mansion’s architecture, history and gardens. FULLERTON - Night in Fullerton. This 44th annual event sponsored by City of Fullerton Parks & Recreation Department is an annual presentation of cultural activities in a variety of forms. It offers an evening of some of the finest art, music, dance, and drama, through cooperative efforts of various cultural organizations, schools, artists, and dedicated volunteers. LOS ANGELES - The Birth of Noir.  Esotouric features five of their darkest bus tours in November 2008. The Birth of Noir: James M. Cain's Southern California Nightmare is but one example. MONTEREY -  Great Wine Escape Weekend. The 12th Annual Great Wine Escape Weekend will be held throughout Monterey Wine Country through November 9th. SANTA YNEZ - Viva Vaquero Show and Sale. The 24th annual Vaquero show celebrates California's earliest cowboy, the Vaquero. Noted artisans and collectors from the Western U.S. display and sell cowboy and western apparel, horse equipment and memorabilia at The Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society and Carriage Museum event.
