Cain's Crossing Renaissance Faire

AUBURN - Cain's Crossing Renaissance Faire. This 16th Century Renaissance faire features Queen Elizabeth, Pirates, Magician, Fencing and Archery. CORONA -  Koroneburg European Old World Festival. Southern California's Only Permanent Renaissance Village! NEWPORT BEACH - Home Show & Boutique - Design trends are on view in the new Coastal Elegance style home. Open Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 to 5 pm, with evening hours until 9 pm on Thursdays, the event runs through May 18, 2008. Free parking and shuttle at Mariner’s Church, 5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine (Tuesday-Saturday) and Tarbut V’ Torah, 5 Federation Way, Irvine (Sundays). REDONDO BEACH - Y-ME Walk to Empower. 1st Annual event is a 3-mile non-competitive walk. More than 1,000 walkers and volunteers will gather in Veterans Park, Redondo Beach to raise money and awareness, plus honor the survivors in your life, commemorate your own diagnosis and remember those who are no longer with us. You'll also have the chance to raise funds in support of Y-ME's free-of-charge programs and services that are offered to all those touched by breast cancer. SUNOL - Toast of Spring on the Wildflower Train. Livermore Valley vintners host wine tasting to during a one hour excursion filled with views of California poppies, lupin and mustard wildflowers seen from a vintage train ride through Niles Canyon. Board at the old Sunol depot and travel part of the historic route of the first transcontinental railroad. The one-hour round-trip excursion is about 14 miles. SUNSET BEACH - Sunset Beach Art Festival. Held each Mother's Day weekend, this giant 1-mile long event includes art competition, vendor booths, raffle and pancake breakfast held Saturday morning at the Fire Department. SUN VALLEY -  Festival DIA de la MADRE. 2008 Mother's Day Hispanic Community Fair. Enjoy samples of a variety of products given in this event that has developed great expectations among the Hispanic communities of Arleta, Pacoima, Panorama City and North Hollywood. More than 15,000 Hispanic attendants will enjoy different type of foods, free health screenings for Women, free gifts for Moms, Carnival Games, arts & crafts, live Music groups, and a variety of products, services.
