NEWPORT BEACHToshiba Classic Final Round Golf. Toshiba Classic has hosted world class golfers Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Gary Player and nearly every top golfer you can imagine. In 2007 Jay Haas surpassed a 5-year-old tournament scoring record by Hale Irwin, finishing 19 under par 194. Now over a decade old, this Southern California golf event attracts thousands to the greens of scenic Newport Beach Country Club. Located along ocean view, sloped hills next to Fashion Island, the final day of play is the big one...the one that brings home the bacon for one skilled golf professional who will earn up to several hundred thousand dollars in prize winnings. ANAHEIM -  Outreach Clinic for Children. CONCORD - Concord Chocolate Festival. Gourmet chocolate samples from chocolatiers, restaurants, bakeries, hotels and caterers paired with wine makes for a rich afternoon of decadence. New this year is a culinary competition where teen chefs from the Serendipity Culinary program will compete in the "Concord's Best Teen Chocolatier" competition featuring Guittard chocolate. Cookbook author Sharon O'Connor will provide a cooking demonstration and sign copies of her unique pairing of recipes and music entitled, "Chocolate Bliss. COSTA MESA - Country Antiques and Folk Art Show. California Country is the only show in southern California focused exclusively on quality country antiques and folk art. Over 50 dealers will be selling country to formal furniture, folk art, country smalls, textiles, pottery, ceramics, Native American, architectural and garden elements, camp and cottage, toys, holiday items, clocks, brass, sliver, pewter, iron, glass, paintings, lighting, rugs, lots of things in old original paint and much, much more. LA  JOLLA - THE SEVEN. A play adapted from Aeschylus' “Seven Against Thebes", is Greek tragedy meets hip-hop in writer/composer Will Power's modern adaptation of Aeschylus' story of a cursed family and a society unsure of how to free itself from war.
