CLOVERDALE - Cloverdale Sculpture Exhibit. 6th annual event includes an outdoor juried sculpture exhibit in downtown Cloverdale through October 1. Downtown plaza is transformed into a sculpture garden featuring sculptors from across the nation. Location: Cloverdale Plaza, Cloverdale, CA. Cost: Free. Call: (707) 894-4410.

LAGUNA BEACH - Art-A-Fair festival. 42nd annual art event located in a beautiful garden setting with 125 artists, plus live entertainment, fine food, demonstrations and workshops. This year's theme is "Venetian Carnival."  The event runs through Aug. 31. Location: 777 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, Calif. Hours: Sun. – Thurs. 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fri. and Sat. until 10 p.m.Cost: Season pass $3.50 - $7.00; under 12 free. Call: (949) 494-451.

LAGUNA BEACH - Sawdust Festival. 42nd annual artists event is a village filled with restaurant dining, live bands and original art, jewelry and clothing. Hours: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Cost: $3 - 8 (approx.), kids 5 and under free. Annual pass sold for approx. $20. Location: 935 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, Ca. Call: (949) 494-3030.
LOS ANGELES - Dinner & A Movie: Gene Autry Westerns. Guns and Guitars (1936) will be shown at this  event featuring the Western films of Gene Autry. Time: Dinner at 5 pm; Gallery tours at 5:45 and 6:30 pm; Film introduction at 7:15 pm; Screening at 7:30 pm. Admission: $15 Autry members / $18 general admission / $10 children 12 and under.
