COSTA MESA - Orange County Fair Say Cheese. Enjoy one of the most popular urban fairs in the U.S. Pig races are an annual treat, carnival rides, food, fun, and loads of live entertainment and fun for the entire family.  Runs through Aug. 3, 2008 (closed Mondays).  Tickets: $5 - 10, kids under free 5 free. DEL MAR - Professional Bull Riding. Professional Bull Riders, Inc., was founded in 1992 by 20 accomplished bull riders who wanted to make bull riding — rodeo's most popular event — into a stand-alone sport. More than 700 bull riders from the U. S., Canada, Brazil and Australia hold PBR memberships. Tickets usually go on sale about three months prior to the event. HUNTINGTON BEACH - US OPEN of Surfing and Beach Games. A festive, youthful atmosphere greets vacationers to this annual outdoor extravaganza of sports such as surfing, skateboard, bmx, fmx and interactive village games for guests. Cost: Free admission. HUNTINGTON BEACH - S3 Supergirl Jam. Held in Huntington Beach July 25-27, the event features outdoor sports competitions for girls only. Location: south of the Huntington Beach Pier, Huntington Beach, Cal. Times:  Friday, July 25, 2008 – 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 26, 2008 – 11:00a.m. -5:00 p.m.; Sunday, July 27, 2008 – 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Cost: Free.

LAGUNA BEACH - Art-A-Fair festival. 42nd annual art event located in a beautiful garden setting with 125 artists, plus live entertainment, fine food, demonstrations and workshops. This year's theme is "Venetian Carnival."  The event runs through Aug. 31. Location: 777 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, Calif. MOSS LANDING - Moss Landing Antique Street Faire.38th Annual Outdoor Antique Street Faire with over 200 vendors of antiques and collectibles from all over the West Coast, this event is located in the historic fishing village of Moss Landing, Ca 1/2 way between Monterey and Santa Cruz on state highway 1. OXNARD -  Oxnard Salsa Festival. The 15th Annual Salsa event is the HOTTEST summer event with spicy foods and sizzling entertainment.  Presented by the Oxnard Downtowners, this award-winning festival features the region’s top salsa bands, non-stop salsa dancing, vendor marketplace shopping, Kids Korner attractions, a Salsa Tasting Tent, international foods, a salsa recipe contest, and the “Salsa with our Local Stars” Dance Contest & Charity Fundraiser. POWAY - Left 4 Dead Upbeat Rock‘n Roll. Target Summer Concert in the Park Series is sponsored by the City of Poway, Target Stores, and Marrokal Construction.  Bring a blanket or chair, and a picnic dinner, and head out to Lake Poway and Old Poway Park for some great summer fun. TWAIN HARTE - Twain Harte Summer Arts & Wine Festival. The 31st Annual event in the Central Sierra village of Twain Harte becomes the center of creativity, music and fun. Twain Harte Summer Arts & Wine Festival includes talented craft and graphic artists & continuous live entertainment. Starting at the Twain Harte Arch (Joaquin Gully Rd) and turning down Cedar Drive, nearly 100 high caliber artists will display and sell their fine wares.
