BENBOW - Summer Arts & Music Festival. Nearly 10,000 folks flock to the banks of the Eel River for this premiere arts and music festival that features 100 performances on four stages, 150 fine arts and crafts booths, an international selection of foods, kids' entertainment, and a fine arts exhibition. CORONA -  Koroneburg European Old World Festival. Southern California's Only Permanent Renaissance Village! Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village enjoy jugglers, music, jousting, battles and entertainment for the entire family.  Runs weekends through June 15, 2008. EUREKA -North Coast Open Studios - Meet over 150 artists in their studios and experience the creative process firsthand at this annual event. Many of the artists' studios are located in unique and interesting spaces—from historic buildings in Old Town Eureka, to rustic settings with beautiful gardens along the coast and in the redwoods. Weekend events will be held in Garberville, Redway, Rio Dell, Hydesville, Bridgeville, Fortuna, Ferndale, King Salmon, Eureka and Samoa. Time: 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Cost: Free. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Concours d'Elegance Car Show.  Two days of car competitions, live music, food booths, and fun for the sake of the Huntington Beach Library system Central Library Children's Wing. Location: Central Library grounds in Central Park, 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA.
LAKEPORT - Kulture Shock Car Show. 3rd annual event includes music, food, beer, cars galore and fun for the entire clan.

LONG BEACH - Civil War Reenactment. History comes to life with period costumes, encampments and two battles per day at Noon and 3 p.m.  El Dorado Regional Park East, 7550 E. LONG BEACH - Garden Tours at Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site. Held first Sunday through October, guided tours include information about the history of the gardens. The Rancho is also open Wednesday – Sunday from  1 to 5 p.m. Location: Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site, 4600 Virginia Road, Long Beach (One block west of Long Beach Blvd. at San Antonio Drive). REDDING - Taste of Redding. Feast on fabulous fare and wander through the Sculpture Park. Fine restaurants and an opportunity to taste from local breweries and wineries are only part of the fun. 3 stages with live entertainment featuring blues rock, jazz, folk and big band music to benefit youth and Rotary projects. TUSTIN - The Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cookoff. Take to the streets of Old Town Tustin.
