MARINA DEL REY - Hornblower’s New Summer Sunset Cocktail Cruises - The best happy hour in Marina del Rey, Hornblower celebrates summer with breathtaking views of the sunset from the deck of a Hornblower yacht and a front row seat to view the sailboat races. Hornblower’s two-hour Cocktail Cruise features complimentary appetizers, drink specials and amazing views. The all female Afro-Indigenous song collective will perform music from their debut album, The Garifuna Women's Project, which weaves the stories of their struggles to retain their traditions in the face of globalization. Descendents of shipwrecked African Slaves who intermarried with the Carib and Arawak Indians of the Caribbean, the Garifuna people live primarily in small villages on the Caribean coasts of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
