CORONADO - Skating by The Sea. Three-hour skating sessions will be offered daily from 2 to 5 pm and 6 to 9 pm. A special matinee skating sessions from 11 am to 1 pm will occur on weekends and holidays. 3-hour session: $20/adults; $15/ages 10 years and under; 2-hour matinee session $15/adult; $10/ages 10 years and under. FAIRFIELD Holiday Night of Lights.  Music, carriage rides, foods, chorus and games for all. Location: Downtown Texas Street and Solano Government Plaza, Fairfield, CA. Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.


GARDEN GROVE - The Glory of Christmas Musical. A blend of Christmas carols, pageantry, live animals, flying angels, and special effects unfold in the nativity story. HUNTINGTON BEACH - Cocktail Party For A Cause - charity project  accepts donations at night of the event with any of the seven organizations represented. LOS ANGELES - LAX - Public Viewing Sites for Airbus A380 Landing super jumbo jet to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The aircraft is scheduled to depart LAX for Sydney, Australia on Friday, Nov. 30 at 8 a.m. The flight operation will occur on LAX's south runway complex. Viewers may park at Dockweiler Beach, owned and operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors, to see the aircraft taking off overhead.

SAN JOSE - Downtown Ice skating rink is open through 1/13/08 in the stately-palm court and features over 8,000 square feet of ice in an arena and circular outer rink. Time: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. weeknights; Noon to Midnight on weekends; Special holiday hours, subject to to confirm. Cost: $12-$14. Skate all you want first-come, first-serve. VISALIA - Christmas Tree Auction - The 27th Annual 2007 Christmas Tree Auction & Holiday Festival – Sponsored by The Visalia Chamber Of Commerce, this is the event famous for raising millions of dollars to directly benefit area community service agencies. Those selected to participate this year will once again showcase their talents by creating masterfully decorated live Christmas Trees for auction at the event.
