Huntington Beach Lifeguards Rank Top in Nation for Safety Education

Written by: Chris MacDonald a Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District Ambassador

On Memorial Day Weekend from Saturday May 23rd, Sunday May 24th and Sunday May 25th, 2009 The Beach Safety Awareness Week open house occurred at The Vincent G. Moorhouse Lifeguard Headquarters south of the Huntington Beach Pier. Thousands of people came to the yearly event to learn about Marine Safety and how to stay safe when you are at the Beach.

Marine Safety Officers Tony Villalobos and Mike Bartlett gave me a tour at the open house. I Learned a lot. On hand at the event on Saturday was Jim Engle who is The Community Services Director for The City Of Huntington Beach..  My Thanks to Marine Safety Chief Kyle Lindo and his Awesome Staff for helping in Making Our Beaches Safe. To learn more about Huntington Beach Marine Safety: HB lifeguard safety coverage supplied previously.   You can also call: (714) 536-5281.
