Joshua Tree National Park Rocks Video
Joshua Tree National Park
video shows the splendor of this desert jewel located in San Bernardino Country.
As you drive past the huge fields and mountains of windmills that
harvest the power of nature, you may want to head east toward Yucca Valley,
Morongo Valley, Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. Located near these outposts
where populations range from 1500 to 5000 residents, you'll discover Joshua Tree
National Park shown in the video above.
Inside the national park, one many in California, you'll discover
camping, picnics, rock climbing, bicycling, fantastic drives and start images in
a somewhat barren landscape.
Joshua Tree trees are abundant as seen above. The look part cactus,
part tree. They stand anywhere from a few feet tall to heights taller than the
tallest man, up to 50 meter. Their peaks may be a prominent single upshoot or
many thick brown branches that only grow after the plant has grown its flower
and been pollinated by the yucca moth. The flowers bloom in springs that have
been preceded by a winter rain and freezing temperatures.
Fears exist that the joshua tree may become extinct. It lives primarily
in an extremely small ecology around the Joshua Tree National Park valleys, Lost
Horse and Queen. This Mojave desert location includes a unique climate in a
desert valley surrounded by several sets of mountains, San Jacinto to the west
and San Bernardino to the north.
