The Huntington Beach Longboard Crew is
one of the many clubs that promotes the history and
passion of longboard surfing.
In the video above Gary Sahagen, Director of the
Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum, and HB Longboard
Crew, discusses the clubs and date of month meetings. He invited
the public to join the fun and join the club by attending
meetings held at Mario's restaurant at 5 Points Plaza each
month.
In addition to an annual HB
Longboard Crew surfing paddle out, usually held around the first
of year, the club also has projects such as
Blackie's Bicycles to Baja. This annual event collects used bikes that
are in good, working order. The club cleans them, puts on new
tires and chains, them takes them to several villages in Baja.
