What's your favorite beach? In
California, you might get 500 answers (or more). But one beach near and
dear to our hearts ranks pretty high for enjoyment as seen in the video
interview of these beach girls who prefer it.
If you ask 10,000 people what
their favorite California beaches are, the answers will vary, depending
on what part of the coast you are asking that question from. Travelers
and locals in Northern California love the beaches along the Monterey
Bay, the largest national marine sanctuary in the United States. Down
south in Los Angeles (the most popular beaches by the numbers), Orange
County, and San Diego, you'll find that people locally hold preferences
for specific beaches based on their ages, sports and general
preferences.
In Orange County even (where the
video and picture above were taken), you can get a half a dozen to 40
some answers about favorite beaches. In one city alone (Laguna Beach),
there are well over 20 local beaches to enjoy.
The girls in the video above live
in Fountain Valley but especially like Huntington City Beach. Why? Cute
guys, lots to do on Main Street, etc.
The city they live in borders
Huntington Beach, with Fountain Valley located a mere mile or so from
the beach. Fountain Valley borders Huntington Beach and actually
shares schools such as Fountain Valley High School, part of the
Huntington / Fountain Valley School District. Many students from
Huntington Beach actually attend school in Fountain Valley, as a matter
of fact.
But back to the beach... the
summers in Huntington Beach range from mellow to extremely crowded,
depending on weekends and special events days, and the beaches are
simply huge. Nearly 9 miles of sand stretch from Newport Beach through
HB to Sunset Beach.
When visiting the beach, you
probably will be interested in staying in
Orange County Beach hotels, like so many people are.
