The California beach sunset slide show of approx. 9 images was designed with color match, to show mostly silhouettes, and mostly browns and golds.

The pictures taken include two surfers, palm trees, a bird, people, the sky, a plaza area at the beach and pier pilings with the filtered sun breaking through them.

Photo tip: This time of day lends to silhouettes. Silhouettes are all about angles. The sun must be in a particular position backlighting a subject enough to strip away the color of that object, thus creating a shape or form seen in images above.  You can actually take silhouette photos in the daylight as well, but it's tricky getting the sun in the right position behind the subject matter to create that stark contrast. 

Vacation photos of sunsets can be so fun to take. Just head for your favorite spot and wait for the sun to drop. Right before you eyes you can see the colors changed and the camera seems to capture the moments with great splendor.
