CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood, an entertainment, dining and retail promenade that specializes in contemporary entertainment in a retail destination includes some great new additions--L.A.'s  best movie-going experience and great dining choices. In May 2007, Universal CityWalkk's 18-screen movie theatre centerpiece is an IMAX 3-D theatre includes the installation of premium wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling movie screens and a sophisticated digital surround-sound system. Spacious stadium- style seating and state-of-the-art ergonomically designed "rocker" seats and cushioned cup holder armrests will allow 420 guests to "rock" to the hottest films available. SkyVenture Hollywood, a new indoor skydiving wind tunnel attraction that mimics a true skydiving experience catapults guests to pulse-pounding heights of over 40-feet and keep them suspended with wind thrusts of up to 125-miles per hour also is open in 2007. Virtual race car driving at the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway, mechanical bull-riding at Saddle Ranch Chop House and bowling under the neon lights of Jillian's Hi Life Lanes are additional interactive entertainment options to those visiting CityWalk. Next to the CityWalk, the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park features rides such as the new Simpsons ride, unveiled in 2008.
