Treasure Island Beach
Laguna Beach - Treasure Island

Treasure Island Beach is the southern most city beach under the watchful eye of Laguna Beach Lifeguard Department. It is located north of  Aliso Creek Beach and is best accessed by the ramp at the southwest corner of the Montage Resort. While tourists love to visit the tide pools in this region, rock collecting and taking seashells is not permitted under local marine sanctuary rules.

Popular activities include swimming, skin and scuba diving, tide pooling, fishing and other beach activities. The beach has a good amount of sand, but can get crowded during weekend or hot summer days.

This beach is comprised primarily of a sand beach and sand bottom, making for a shorebreak surf. The beach can become steep and surf can be large with numerous rip currents forming at the north end along the rocks.  Skimming is allowed at the southern end of the beach.
