As you whiz along Highway 101, youu'll notice this windmill hotel. Pretty neat! This is the hotel featured in the movie "Sideways", about two buddies who take a journey from Southern California to the Central California coast wine country. Using this hotel as their home base, they drink lots of wine and get into some interesting situations with some local single ladies. There are quite a few windmills in the area of Buellton and Solvang, two communities influenced by Danish culture.
