Surfside surfing is
a very local affair. The Annual Surfside
Seventies is an invitational in which you bring your
own boards. Surfside California is a beautiful beach
community that's gated. It is operated by an
association of homeowners who contract services for
fire and beach protection. The public can walk onto
the beach by parking in Sunset and walking on the
sand through public access. Surfside is replete with
surfers, sun-worshippers and those who love the
Pacific Ocean. The housing is lined up in three rows
A, B and C. A row is on the beach.

If you wish to live
or
rent in Surfside, there are some lovely vacation
rentals there. While no hotels exist on this little
beach stretch, there are hotels
on the same (beach) side of Pacific Coast Highway in
Sunset Beach and across the street in Huntington
Beach.
