Sunset Boulevard Lawn Statues, Beverly Hills

Haderway Hall at 10000 Sunset Boulevard is a private, gated residence near the Los Angeles Country Club and UCLA campus, in the wealthy communities of Bel Air, Holmby Hills a and Beverly Hills.  On the pristine lawns in view of cars and buses passing by are life size bronze statues of people in motion.

From policeman giving a ticket to a trespasser, to a dog playfully yanking at the pant cuff of one of two kids holding in play with one of them holding an American flag in the air,  this entertaining entryway is fantastic, even though signage does warn that it's private property and there's no trespassing. Other sculptures include an adult holding a child's torso (arm and leg) and swinging the kid in the air, an acrobat flying in motion upside down and a jogger running past the lawn.  Most public parks and spaces don't have artwork quite this nice but this in this region of Los Angeles, the very wealthy residents who work in the movie industry, banking or whatever, sometimes spread a bit of joy in the public spaces in front of their gates and fences.

When driving along this stretch near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard between Carolwood Drive and Ladera, look fast or you will miss it.
