design of the Spa at Torrey Pines is from the style of Scottish architect
Charles Rennie Mackintosh. A feng shui expert was retained to advise on the
layout of the 8,500 square-foot space. In addition to 14 treatment rooms,
there are three lounges, one with a fireplace, dry saunas, herbal-infused
steam rooms and aromatherapy rooms.
Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Torrey Pines Cobble Stone,
Reflexology, Couples and Thai Massage are some of the menu options at this
lovely setting in the beautiful Craftsman style golf and spa resort hotel
overlooking the ocean at La Jolla.

treatments include Aqua
Latte or California Grapeseed Tea Bath. While enjoying the spa setting,
guests can shop at The Spa gift store where signature products such as the
Coastal Sage Scrub are sold. Torrey Pines State Reserve is home to 17
varieties of sage and The Spa ties its treatments to this localized
environmental asset.
Central to
the spa treatments at The Spa at Torrey Pines
are marine and botanical-based products from the European lines of Phytomer
and Babor. Sage, known for its purifying and detoxifying properties, is used
in The Spa's signature treatment, Coast Sage Scrub performed in the Vichy
shower.
