South Carlsbad State Beach in San
Diego County, California is one of the great, warm beach locations enjoyed
by tourists who come to feel the sun. From the hilltop sunsets you are
afforded as you watch the Pacific Ocean glisten in the evening light, to the
daytime blues of the Pacific Ocean that seem a richer hue at this location,
your State Beach visit promises not to be boring. Carlsbad is tucked amongst
the northern county beach communities such as Oceanside and Cardiff. It
features a great, somewhat old-fashioned downtown area you can shop and
stroll around. In addition to antiques and small shops, you can spend a few
bucks at the Carlsbad Outlet stores. South

Featuring fantastic beaches with
swimming, surfing, fishing and the famous evening jogs or strolls, the large
bluff-top campground is very popular, and is often sold out during summer
months. A set of stairs lead to the beach. Nearby attractions include great
hotels, Legoland Theme Park, San Diego Zoo and some wonderful hotels for
those who just want to visit this great beach but have a desire (like us) to
sleep in a cozy, comfy bed at a hotel or resort with all the amenities that
make the trip seem especially nice.
