Sheraton Universal Hotel offers
everything you'd want (and more) on trips to Universal Studios Hollywood.
From the exterior, you don't get many clues to the quality of this very nice
hotel that serves conferences and the business audience as much as travelers
spending a night next to the theme park. The luxury bedding, pleasant
decor and black and white photos in some rooms that show the old Hollywood
studios are subtle and suitable for all who seek simple elegance. Views from
the hotel rooms are awesome, featuring city scapes, mountains and hill
sides.
The hotel serves reasonably-priced
food, features a beautiful swimming pool and is within a short walk to the
theme park. All you need do is park your car at the hotel garage and then
head on over to the park.
While our trips to the Sheraton
Universal Hotel have been for business, we've always managed to slip away
for a couple hours to enjoy the night life and shops at City Walk, a large
entertainment promenade attached to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme
park. You don't pay admission to get into this section. BB King's features
some outstanding jazz and blues artists with many surprised (world class)
musicians who are invited on stage to jam from time time.
While the Hilton Universal City hotel
is nice, you can't go wrong with a stay at Sheraton Universal Hollywood.
