UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD SALUTES FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE, AND OTHER HEROES OF SOUTHERN CAL WILDFIRES OUTBREAK AT HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

THEME PARK WILL GIVE “HEROES” FREE ADMISSION TO KICK OFF THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT THE ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL OF L.A.

Universal Studios Hollywood salutes the heroes who saved lives and property during the recent Southern California wildfires outbreak at a holiday tree lighting ceremony that will officially kick-off the season at the Entertainment Capital of L.A.
 

Mrs. Santa Claus and Universal executives will announce that FREE admission to the theme park will be extended to all Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officials, Paramedics, Red Cross Employees and 911 Personnel starting November 27 through December 21.

This special gift is open to badged and other credentialed emergency personnel and is redeemable by showing identification at the theme park’s box office. All personnel with current photo employee identification are eligible.

The theme park’s towering six-story Christmas tree will be decked out with an award-winning collection of movie-themed ornaments and a commemorative ornament dedicated to the heroes who saved countless lives and homes during the recent wildfires.

Explore the JUNOVERSE! – JUNO Event

Sunday, December 2, 12pm – 3pm

On Sunday, December 2 from 12pm – 3pm, come to Universal CityWalk to celebrate the new movie from Fox Searchlight Pictures, JUNO, starring Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Ellen Page. Star 98.7 will have tons of fun JUNO contests and prizes, plus passes of a private screening of JUNO that night. From the studio that brought you Little Miss Sunshine, JUNO will show in select theaters December 5th! This Holiday Season, when you don’t fit it, you can’t help but stand out.

CityWalk Festival of Lights Celebration

December 4, 5:00 – 9:00pm

On December 4, the 15-foot, 1,000-lb Menorah will light up Universal CityWalk for the 6th Annual Chanukah Festival from 5:00 – 9:00pm. Hundreds will gather for this free Festival of Lights celebration.

CityWalk New Years Eve Countdown Celebration

December 31, 9:00pm – 12:30am

Don’t miss Los Angeles’ largest New Year’s Eve party at CityWalk as the 2007 countdown begins at 9:00pm on December 31. The free celebration will rock to live music and DJ performances and a global countdown culminating with blasts of confetti cannons. This is one party you won’t want to miss!
