Tennis vacations at
California Tennis Hotels and Resorts- If
I could count the number of times
I've gone on a trip and began
looking for a tennis court, I'd be a
rich man who would build my own
resort with tennis courts. While
some say golf and spa treatments have
taken over, there are millions who will
beg to differ about the popularity of
tennis vacations. Not only is tennis a
great outdoors sport to enjoy while
on the road (tennis rackets are easy
to pack and travel with), it's all a
family friendly activity that saves
money. From San Diego to Santa
Maria and Little River, we've
traveled the coast and found tennis
courts in all sorts of places.
Obviously the best courts for
convenience will be at your hotel,
but if you don't see it on this list
below, chances are you'll find a
community court with free public
access somewhere in the town or city
you're staying in. In the beautiful Palm
Desert there's nothing quite like a game
of tennis in the dry, warm climate.
But
you'll find fabulous tennis courts at
hotels and resorts throughout
California. Silverado Country Club in
Napa Wine Country not only features a
beautiful golf course at the hotel, it
also enjoys a whopping 17 courts for
play and tournaments. For the
corporate events, it's a great option to
golf for those who prefer a different
sport. For the weekend vacationer, a
game of tennis in places such as Napa
allows you to burn calories so you'll be
good to go for another round of wine
sampling in the Napa Valley. Wherever
you travel and whatever you do, be sure
to schedule a tennis game for a bit of
diversion and fun. Like all information

that the courts are open before heading
