Mickey's Toon Town at Disneyland Resorts Anaheim is a blast of
colors as seen in the photo
Hi Diddle Dee, It's Mickey's
Toon Town for me and those who are kids at heart. As you
depart "It's a Small World" ride and enter the Disneyland theme
park's tucked away fantasy in the back side of the park, Toon Town,
you find a haven for kids and parents. Snack shops with dogs, sodas
and burgers, playgrounds, kids cars, a few kiddie rides and some
colorful exploring are in order for the stroller crowd, toddlers and
youngsters.
I don't fit the profile of any
of those but did enter the gates of Toon Town, finding the colorful
settings so exciting. You can try to make sense out of the facades
for building designs, but you're better off just enjoying. On
even a lightly-trafficked day you'll find throngs of people
exploring this magical place. Moms, dads, grandmas, grandads, kids
and even the themed characters from time to time find Mickey's Toon
Town a great place to wander.
Pictured above is a bright
ride fire engine shaped in caricature style, just the right size for
a three-year-old.
When you head to this area,
the lines for foods are somewhat slow, so you soak up the vibes and
with camera in hand, can occupy your moments while waiting to order
some grub.
